If you’re travelling to Peru a trip to Machu Picchu is a must. Whether archaeological sites are your thing or not, once you break through and see the magnificent Huayna Picchu looming over the now famous ruins, you will be glad you made the journey. There is a lot written about the beauty, awe and serenity of this place, and every single word of it is true. It’s like no other place on earth and definitely a destination that all lovers of travel should visit. There is accommodation just outside the entry gates into the site, but we highly recommend staying at the Inkaterra Pueblo in the lower town of Agus Calientes. Set amongst lush rainforest, you will feel like you are sleeping in a treehouse, but with the important comforts you expect from a 5-star luxury hotel. Is it a splurge? Yes. Is it worth it to enhance your Machu Picchu experience? Definitely!

2. GALAPAGOS ISLANDS
Journey to the place that inspired Charles Darwin to write the groundbreaking theory of ‘The Origin of Species’. If getting up close and personal with some of the world’s rarest animals then the Galapagos will be like a dream come true. You’ll feel like a kid in a candy shop, not knowing what to look at or do first! To get a more intimate glimpse into the diversity and beauty of this inspiring collection of islands choose a vessel that carries a smaller number of guests, with a minimum of at least 5 nights of cruising. It may seem indulgent at the time, but you will be glad you did in the end.
Popular among Chilean’s and international visitors alike, San Pedro de Atacama is located in Northern Chile and is central to an array of attractions. For the adventurer in you there is trekking, climbing and even sand boarding! And for those who like to take things a bit easier there’s archaeological sites, amateur astronomy and exploration tours. Whatever your choice of activity, wind down at the end of a long day at one of the cosy restaurants or bars to relax and reflect on all the amazing things you have accomplished that day.
From the Atacama Salt Flats to the El Tatio Geyser, we can get you there! Inca Tours. Making memories.
Looking for that one experience to top all others? Well look no further, because an Antarctic cruise from Ushuaia in Argentina is something anyone wanting a unique experience should do. You want to see icebergs the size of buildings, glaciers the length of 5 football fields and wildlife only found in the coldest places on earth – well then Antarctica is for you because it can give you all these things, and so much more. We could go on for days about how magical the scenery is, how breathtaking, majestic and life changing this place can be. But we won’t. You’ll have to go and experience it for yourself!

5. IGUAZU FALLS
If waterfalls are you thing, and let’s face it there is something mesmerising about tons of water cascading down the side of a cliff, then a trip to Iguazu Falls is a must. These falls are one of the largest in the world and are located on the boarder of both Argentina and Brazil. Viewing platforms are located on either side, however you will find the best views are looking across from the Brazilian side. This is because the majority of the falls are located in Argentina, so you will see more if you are located directly opposite. You might like to take a boat ride through the rapids, visit the Bird Park (located on the Brazilian side), or just sit and watch all that water….
