The Best of Nepal Tour (10 days)

10 days duration

The ancient mountain Kingdom of Nepal is a tiny and intriguing country situated almost at the top of the world. Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital, is a fascinating city with much to offer.

The following ten-day tour is perfect for travellers with limited time, who want to experience an authentic taste of Nepal. No visit to Nepal would be complete without watching the sun rise over Mt Everest, the world’s highest mountain. Quality time in Kathmandu also allows for an introduction to the Buddhist faith, with visits to local stupas, monasteries and temples. We also include time in pretty Pokhara and a wildlife experience at Chitwan National Park.

Day 1 Arrive Kathmandu

On arrival at Kathmandu Airport you are met and transferred to your centrally located hotel. In the evening you are introduced to the culture of Nepal with a cultural dance and dinner at a local restaurant.

Kathmandu is the capital of the ancient mountain kingdom of Nepal and has the air of a medieval city: a maze of narrow streets, wooden temples and beautifully decorated palaces. (D)

With the assistance of your guide you get to explore this interesting area, dating back hundreds of years. (BD)
