Luxury Explora Patagonia Stay (5 days)

5 days duration

In the Chilean Patagonia, a region of long forgotten pioneering, nature is still virgin and the heart of this land, the Torres del Paine National Park, the largest in Chile, exemplifies the scenery. Here the llamas and rheas (a type of small ostrich) live in peace together with flocks of flamingoes. Glaciers, emerald lakes, waterfalls, peaks of all shapes and shining valleys await you. 

You can also elect to stay 8 nights or stay 4 nights at Explora Patagonia, then be transferred to northern Chile for another 4 nights at the equally fabulous Explora Atacama in hauntingly beautiful Atacama Desert.
 

Day 1 Arrive Punta Arenas / Torres del Paine NP / Explora Patagonia
 
On arrival in Punta Arenas, in the far south of the Chilean Patagonia, you will be met and transferred by vehicle into the Torres del Paine National Park and to 'Explora's Salto Chico hotel. Here you stay for 4 (or 8) all-inclusive, fantastic nights. Your days at 'Explora' are designed for you to simply relax and explore the park.

Situated on the shores of the beautiful Lake Pehoe and immersed in the privileged environment of Torres del Paine, the Salto Chico Hotel was built in 1993 to encourage a new attitude towards travel. It combines nature and adventure with the comfort of refined luxury in one of the most remote places on earth. (LD+) 
 
Day 2-4 Explora Patagonia - Torres del Paine NP
 
These days are at leisure for you to undertake as many (or as few) guided excursions as you wish. All are included but nothing is compulsory - time is your own! You can explore the beauty of Patagonia on foot or make use of any of the vehicles, horses, mountain bikes or row-boats available, accompanied by guides to places with inspiring names like Mirador Condor, Laguna Azul or Glacier de Valle del Frances!

'Explora's location lets you experience the Torres del Paine National Park to the fullest, summer or winter, 365 days a year. (BLD+)
 
Day 5 Explora Patagonia / Torres del Paine NP / Depart Punta Arenas
 
This morning after breakfast, you will bid farewell to 'Explora' when you are driven out of Torres del Paine and back to Punta Arenas Airport to board your onward flight. (B)
