Your Experience Tour starts on arrival at Udaipur Airport where you will be me and transferred to our hotel for a fabulous two-night stay.
Udaipur is also known as the “Lake City” because of its two most beautiful sites, the dream-like Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) and the Jag Mandir marble palaces, which appear to rise from the blue waters of Lake Pichhola.
This morning you visit the famous City Palace. It is actually a collection of palaces all surrounded by the royal palace walls, which stretch over a mile on the eastern side of the lake.
Following your tour of the palace you take a brief tour of Udaipur and then the remainder of the day is at leisure to further explore the palace or its surroundings. (B)
After breakfast you will be driven through the rugged, wooded hills of Rajasthan to the Jain Temples of Ranakpur. Noted for the grandiose scale of their architecture, the resident priests are still continuing the construction to this day.
You have lunch at Fatehbagh before continuing on to Jodhpur, where you check into your hotel and have the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. (BL)
Today you drive to Jaisalmer, in the heart of the Thar Dessert. Jaisalmer’s architecture is magnificent with its meandering lanes and mansions with their grand facades. On arrival you will check into your hotel for two romantic nights under the broad Rajasthan sky. (BL)
Your tour this morning includes a visit to the yellow sandstone fort which towers over this isolated city. This fort was constructed from solid interlaced blocks of stone with beautifully chiselled friezes and ornamental jails (latticed windows). You will also visit the Garsisar Water Tank, an important landmark, before returning to your hotel.
In the late afternoon you have the opportunity to undertake a camel ride on the Sam Sand Dunes surrounding the town. (B)
You return to Jodhpur today. Also called the “Blue City”, Jodhpur is located on the edge of the Thar Desert. You will arrive in the afternoon and have the remainder of the day at leisure. (BL)

This morning your tour will take you to the Mehrangarh Fort. Towering over the city, it contains a number of grand palaces, each an impressive example of architectural excellence.
Before returning to the hotel you visit Jaswant Thada where a number of cenotaphs erected in 1899 are found. (B)
Today you drive to Jaipur, the Capital of Rajasthan and often referred to as the “Pink City”. On arrival you check into your hotel for two magical nights. (BL)
You undertake a comprehensive full day tour of Jaipur, taking in the highlights of this interesting city. They include the Hawa Mahal, or the ‘Palace of Winds’, the Jantar Mantar (Astronomical Observatory) and the ornately decorated Amber Fort, located just outside the city. This was the seat of power before the City Palace was built, which is visited on your return to the city. (BL)
Today you will travel by road to Agra. Enroute you visit Fatehpur Sikri, also known as the “Deserted” or “Ghost City”. It was the capital of the Moghal emperor Akbar.
You stop for lunch in Bharatpur before arriving at your hotel in Agra. (BL)
Early today you visit what is one of the absolute highlights of the tour: the Taj Mahal, built in memory of his beloved empress, Mumtaz Mahal, by Emperor Shah Jahan. This marble mausoleum is the greatest gesture of love known to mankind. It is breathtakingly beautiful with many precious stones used in its inlays. Your visit is timed to correspond with the sunrise, so you will have ample time to explore this memorial. Later in the day you visit the Agra Fort and the Itimad-ud-Daulah, a beautiful tomb with marble and intricate etchings on its walls.
In the afternoon you drive to Delhi and check into your hotel for a vibrant two-night stay. (B)
This morning you will undertake a comprehensive tour of Old and New Delhi in which you get to see India Gate, the Houses of Parliament, Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the Red Fort and Jama Masjid, one of Asia’s largest mosques. Your tour finishes with a fascinating rickshaw ride through the narrow streets and colourful alleys of Old Delhi’s market places. (BL)
Following breakfast your Experience Tour comes to an end as you check out of the hotel and are transferred to the airport. (B)
