Exotic Goa Stay (5 days)

The kilometres of palm-fringed white sand beaches, offering the opportunity to laze on the sand or take a dip in the warm waters is a major attraction for some, but fore those seeking more, Goa can offer it. You could take a ride through its roads as they wind through beautiful villages with whitewashed churches and exuberantly coloured temples. Visit some of the night clubs and bars. Have a refreshing coconut drink from a local vendor or experience the gourmet option with the array of exotic cuisine on offer. For the shoppers there are options from beach gear to high fashion, unique home décor to spices. Goa has so much to offer regardless of whether you are travelling on a budget or on an exclusive 5-star program!
 

Day 1 Arrive Goa
 
On arrival in Goa you will be met and transferred to your beachside resort for an exotic four-night stay.
 
Day 2 Goa
 
After breakfast you will be taken on an Old Goa historical tour. Old Goa is now a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site and has some magnificent Portuguese Cathedrals. The most famous of these is the Basilica of Bom Jesus built in the 16th Century. This church houses the body of St Francis Xavier in an ornate Silver Casket. You also visit Fort Aguada, which was built by the Portuguese in 1612 and was one of the main bastions at the entrance into the Mandovi River.

Following the tour you return to your hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure to further enjoy Goa. (B)
 
Day 3 Goa
 
Today is entirely at leisure. You can sample the local spice shops and restaurants, have a cocktail at the bar or soak up the sun on the beach. (B)
 
Day 4 Goa
 
Another day at leisure to enjoy the many pleasures and hidden secrets which Goa has to offer. (B)
 
Day 5 Depart Goa
 
Today you will check out of the hotel following breakfast and be transferred to the airport for your onward flight. (B)
