On arrival at the airport in Dubai you are met and taken to your chosen hotel.
This morning you are taken on a tour of Dubai where you experience a variety of sights and scents of the Orient in a cosmopolitan setting, a true introduction to the Arabian Gulf and a good way to help you get your bearings. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the city further, visit other interesting sights around town, releax on the beach or to go shopping.
This evening you are taken on a romantic evening cruise on a traditional dhow (Arabic boat). The dhow is a nostalgic reminder of the Arabian spirit of adventure which dates back to the times of pearl fishing and trading. On board you will be pampered by the Arabian hospitality and spoilt with the choice of delicious food. You may also enjoy the panoramic view of the glittering Dubai City skyline by night and the freshness of the sea breeze. (BD)
You have most of the day at leisure. Later in the afternoon you are taken on a safari which affords the opportunity to experience the desert. You stop at a camel camp on the way to view these animals called 'the ships of the desert".
You then drive over the high sand dunes, before entering the camp-site which is set in a serene enclave and especially decorated to give it an authentic Arabian ambience. Here you relax in the tranquillity and silence of the desert, surrounded by majestic sand dunes which seem to glow by the light of the setting sun. A sumptuous Arabian style BBQ of various succulent fresh meats and salads is served. You will delight at seeing all the night stars during this unforgettable night in the desert! (BD)
Today you are collected from your hotel and taken to the airport to connect with your onward flight. (B)
