Budget Okavango Safari (15 days)15 days duration
On arrival at Livingstone Airport you are met and taken to your hotel for the night.
Today we depart from Livingstone as we are driven to our lodge located adjacent to Chobe National Park in Botswana. (BD)
Chobe is famous for its herds of Elephant, its magnificent sunsets and river cruises. We relax on a morning game drive and a sunset game-viewing cruise on the river. (BD)
Today we are taken to our traditionally styled lodge located on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans. Situated among the giant Boabab trees, we have the afternoon to enjoy our surroundings before relaxing around the fire in the Lapa this evening. (B)
Following breakfast we depart for Maun where on arrival, we are taken to the airport for a short scenic flight to our camp located in the heart of the Okavango Delta. (BLD)
The days are spent with our private guide exploring the wonders of the Okavango Delta by mokoro and on foot. Early morning and late afternoon excursions take advantage of the natural beauty on offer. Relax in the evenings listening to the many sounds of the African bush. (BLD)
Later this morning we fly back to Maun and have the afternoon at leisure to explore. (B)
We leave the Delta Area behind as we enter the Caprivi Strip in Namibia. Here we will spend the night among the lush vegetation overlooking the Okavango River. (BD)
We have a relaxing day enjoying the prolific bird and animal life of the Okavango. There are many optional excursions available, all of which are at additional cost. (BD)
Our journey today takes us further along the Caprivi Strip to our lodge overlooking the Kwando River. Elephant and Hippo can be viewed from the deck of the lodge. (BD)
An afternoon boat excursion and game drive are undertaken in search of the many wild animals that inhabit BwaBwata National Park. (BD)
Our journey today takes us to without a doubt, one of the greatest, most spectacular sights in Africa: the Victoria Falls! (B)
Today is at leisure. Optional tours include visiting the falls, white water rafting, bungi jumping, helicopter flights over the falls, lion walks and elephant back safaris. (B)
Your tour ends this morning when you are taken to Livingstone Airport. (B)
