On arrival in Johannesburg you are met and taken to your hotel where you are made welcome for your overnight stay. You have the rest of the day at leisure.
Today after breakfast you travel via Warden and Bethlehem to Lesotho.
Lesotho is called Southern Africa's "Kingdom in the Sky" for good reason. This stunningly beautiful mountainous country is nestled island-like in the middle of South Africa and it is a fascinating travel detour from its larger neighbour. The country offers superb mountain scenery, a proud traditional people, endless hiking trails and the chance to explore remote areas on Basotho ponies.
After crossing the border and a short drive into Lesotho you will arrive at your 5 star lodge for the next two days. After lunch you have the afternoon at leisure until dinner time. (BLD)

After breakfast you cross back into South Africa and travel to your hotel situated in the Free State province.
Clarens is the jewel of the Eastern Free State. The village is situated in the foothills of the Maluti Mountains in close proximity to the Golden Gate National Park. Clarens is an artist haven with many well known artist either living in or frequenting the village on a regular basis with many art galleries scattered around the village square. The tranquil village ambience combined with the scenic views and a mild climate.
You have the afternoon at leisure to visit these galleries. (B)
Today you will travel through the Golden Gate National Park to the KwaZulu Natal province.
Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Maluti Mountains lies the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. This is true highlands habitat, home to a variety of mammals - black wildebeest, eland, blesbok, oribi and Burchell's Zebra - and birds including the rare bearded vulture (lammergeier) and the equally rare bald ibis. The park derives its name from the brilliant shades of gold cast by the sun on the park's sandstone cliffs, especially the imposing Brandwag rock. Generaalskop, the highest point reveals a breathtaking tapestry of red, yellow and purple hues as its warm shades merge with the cool mountain shadows during the afternoon.
You arrive in time for lunch at your lodge situated in the heart of the KwaZulu Natal Midlands. This malaria free area provides an unrivalled safari experience with the opportunity to view Africa's Big Five as well as cheetah.
Later this afternoon you experience an evening game drive with unparalleled game viewing opportunities in an open topped game vehicle. On your drive you will witness the incredible biodiversity of the area which includes savannah grasslands and thornveld as well as two magnificent waterfalls. (BLD)
Today you enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in the Nambiti Private Game Reserve. With its waterfalls, diverse landscape and abundant wildlife, this reserve offers endless opportunities and options. Unlike most other game reserves, Nambiti has the carrying capacity of almost twice that of regions such as Botswana, thus being able to carry more game per hectare than many other reserves. (BLD)
After a morning game drive and breakfast, you travel via Durban to the coast.
An unspoiled shoreline, rolling hills and lush flora have come to define the Zimbali Coastal Resort region. Set along South Africa's sublime east coast, nestled between a forest reserve and a shimmering sea, the resort's natural beauty is dotted with pockets of urban flair and enhanced by the rich Zulu heritage of this province. Part cultural wonderland, this region boasts thousand year old battlefields and renowned eco-parks.
You have the rest of the afternoon at leisure to relax or to go to the beach. (B)
Today you are taken to Durban's King Shaka International Airport where your tour ends. (B)
