Beautiful Buzios Tour (4 days)

6 days duration

Buzios is situated on the coast 176kms north of Rio de Janeiro, in a region appropriately called the "Sun Coast". The Peninsula of Buzios has more than 20 magnificent beaches and crystal-clear water, which contrasts with the exuberantly sculptured landscape and exotic vegetation. Originally settled by European pirates and slave traders in 1740, the area prospered and became a picturesque fishing village.

It gained international attention in 1964 when Brigite Bardot was photographed strolling barefoot on the beach and has since been elected one of the ten most beautiful areas in the world. Buzios is famous for its unique combination of rustic charm, architectural harmony and incredible beauty. It's sophisticated boutiques and restaurants are frequented by visitors who come from all over the world to savour its magic.

Buzios is alive almost 24 hours a day. In the early morning the fishing boats depart for the ocean and return later full of fish. In the evenings the streets are full of people enjoying the restaurants, bars and nightlife.
